Google’s data centers needed five different controllers and that was highlighted in a presentation in 2016, please check the complete story here.
They worked hard to create solutions to the problems only they were facing and strived to build custom hardware, running custom software, which they made open, shared with the world and shaped the future of networking.
Next week, we will talk about why they ended with the scale problem? What was their business model, which the telecom operators could not understand or replicate?
So stay tuned.
